Cooking - like fashion - is changeable. How often do you try new recipes? We. Often we are looking for new recipes that have not yet tried or want to improve something already familiar and loved. We so often prepare different culinary dishes of other countries, but it is so good to recall recipes old and proven by more than one generation. One of these recipes for us is fried pies with potatoes on a yeast dough.

Every mom and every grandmother should be able to cook such pies, because they are so tasty and alluring. I can’t even imagine how much they need to be done to last at least two days. Doing one serving is not enough. You think I’ll double it and that's enough, but as practice shows, a double portion ends just as quickly. And how are you?

Ingredients:

For the test:

Fresh yeast - 25 g;

Flour - 600-700g;

Water - 375 g;

Sugar - 1 tsp;

Vegetable oil - 100g.

For filling:

Potatoes;

Dill;

Recipe:

For pies, you can take not only fresh mashed potatoes, but also what is left from lunch. If you cook fresh, remember that it must be completely cooled!

We will prepare the dough in a sparse way. Pour 100 ml of warm water into a bowl, add 2 tbsp. l flour and sugar.

Stir well to completely disperse the yeast.

Leave the bowl warm by covering it with a towel. 15-20 minutes is enough for the dough to come. It’s best to put it on a warm (not hot) battery. Another secret of quick dough is to place the bowl in another bowl of warm water (the bowl with dough should not touch the water). Thus, the yeast will rise perfectly.

To the risen dough, add 600 grams of flour and all the vegetable oil.

Knead the elastic dough by mixing the remaining flour. First, we do this in a bowl, then transfer the dough to the working surface and continue to knead another 5-7 minutes.

We cover the finished dough with a towel or hide in a bag, and let it rest for about 20 minutes.

Now you can sculpt pies. What form they will have is up to you to decide. We suggest trying triangles. We divide the whole dough into several parts, while we are working with one, the rest are in the package so as not to weather.

Roll out the dough into a cake no more than 2 mm thick. Cut a glass of circles on the dough. For each circle, put 1 teaspoon of the filling. Maybe more, focus on the size of your workpieces.

We pinch three "edges" in the center. And then we pinch the "facets" of the triangle.

Fry pies in a pan in a small amount of vegetable oil. Pies charmingly put in the pan seam down. Otherwise, they will disperse in this place.

Done. You can eat. Enjoy your meal.
