However, there is a solution, and it is very simple - make a flower stand with your own hands.
Indoor plants: their role and purpose
Indoor flowers are used by many people in the decor of the room, because they can give freshness to absolutely any interior. In addition, they have a very positive effect on the human body, increasing its mood and psychological state, and also perfectly clean the oxygen in the room. Many indoor flowers are actively used in folk medicine.
Nature has given us many types of indoor plants, each of which has its own distinctive features and qualities, although most people pick flowers for themselves primarily according to their appearance. Applying flowers in the house as an element of decor, one should not forget that these are living creatures, and they also need special care, in particular, watering and lighting.
So that harmony and beauty always reigned in the house, you can use the wonderful jardiniers (from French Jardinier - stand, whatnot) for flowers. Moreover, you do not need to purchase them at all, a little effort and time - and you will have an original flower stand made by yourself.
Kinds
There are several types of flower stands, we will analyze the most popular of them:
forged. Flowers in such coasters look very stylish and attractive. This type of coasters looks very elegant, they are quite reliable and durable, but not everyone can make them;
wooden. This option can be found more often than others. They cost a lot and can fit almost every interior, moreover, making them yourself is quite simple. For their manufacture, boards, some natural materials (for example, a piece of log with branches), chipboard and so on are suitable. To make the wood product more attractive, it must be varnished;
metal. Making metal products, like forged ones, is very difficult to make on your own, with the exception of combined (metal / wood) supports, where wooden pots will be placed on metal pipes with a cross section of 25 mm. If you need metal coasters, you will have to purchase finished products;
prefabricated. These flower coasters are a composition of several different objects. In this option, there are no limits and restrictions, it all depends entirely on your imagination.
DIY flower stand
In fact, making a flower stand yourself is not so difficult. We present to your attention a very interesting version of the flower stand, made from improvised materials.
So, we will come in handy:
wooden boards (you can buy ready-made or use, for example, old home shelves);
rope;
ceramic pots (4 pcs.);
jigsaw;
drill;
paint with a brush;
metal ring.
Manufacturing process
1. To make the flower stand as strong as possible, it is recommended to make a protrusion (1-2 cm) on a wooden base from the edge of the pot. To do this, you can take a ceramic pot and circle it on a wooden board from the wide side. After that, you need to measure the desired square, in total 4 pieces will be needed.
2. Next, you need to determine the location of the inner saw. To do this, you need to cut a round cardboard template with a diameter 2 cm smaller than the previously drawn circle and circle it in the center of all square boards.
3. After that, you need to cut out the internal parts. We fix the square fragment well, make a hole in the center with a drill, through which you need to process the wood with a jigsaw. Be careful not to go beyond certain boundaries.
4. Then we drill holes for the rope, which is needed to support all levels of the structure. Drilling sites should be clearly marked so that they are placed in the same place on each square.
5. After that, paint our homemade stand, including the supporting rope. Our option assumes maximum naturalness in the interior, so dark blue acrylic is best suited.
6. Next, we assemble our design and measure the height of the flowers to determine what distance you need to cook. Assembly must begin from above, each of the four ropes is fixed on a metal ring and threaded into the hole of the first square. At the base we knit knots and set the level.
7. We do the same with all the other stands. We do the adjustment of nodes, bring our work to perfection. Tying the bottom knots, remove the excess rope. That's all, our stand is ready!
The above-described option for creating a makeshift stand fits perfectly into an apartment with small dimensions, as its vertical design makes it possible to save space.
